Mr. Roger Bane

Mr. Bane started down his martial arts path in the spring of 1993 with Mr. Jim Harrison, a former student of both Mr. Powell and Mr. Brown. He studied with Mr. Harrison until he retired from teaching in the spring of 1997. He then continued his training with Mr. Brown who took him to his 1st Dan Black Belt testing which was overseen by Mr. Fred Walliser and Mr. Steve Collins.
In the spring of 2000, Mr. Bane started studying Gosoko Ryu Karate with Shihan Dai Gregory Emswiller of the I.K.A. He then attained a 1st Kyu Brown Belt. Mr. Emswiller has since retired from teaching. Mr. Bane studied on his own for a few years until being reunited with Mr. Brown. Mr. Bane is currently progressing toward his 2nd Dan in TKD, studying Karate, Judo, and Aikido with Mr. Brown.
